Maintaining Individual Efficiency & Productivity:

While the job holder ensures high efficiency in doing the following activities as a course of his role:

  • Carries out work within a realistic timeframe using the appropriate tools
  • Completes all documentation including inspection sheets, certificates and receipts applying signatures as appropriate
  • Diagnoses and undertakes electrical repairs on a wide variety of vehicles
  • Identifies additional repairs required advise the Team Leader accordingly
  • Maintains a clean working area and store tools according to the HSE policies and procedures
  • Meets required productivity and efficiency levels as per the agreed KPI’s
  • Performs requisitions on parts and equipment as necessary
  • Records all times and attendance hours to facilitate payment
  • Services and repairs ancillary parts and equipment as required
  • Tests and repairs digital control systems including electronic controls
  • Undertakes electrical installation of accessories and ancillary equipment on a wide variety of vehicles
  • Undertakes training as may be required and product training

 Operational HSE & Housekeeping:

  • Cleans work areas, using air hoses, to remove damaged material and discarded fiberglass strips used in repair procedures.
  • Maintenance of overall cleanliness of the workplace, maintenance of equipment, HSE practices, Storage of used and new parts.
  • Work and maintain all operations within the ISO 9002 and HSE standards set by the company

Customer Focus:

Ensures quality of work identified through quality audits and CSI analysis based on the standards set by the company, such as Fix it Right First, No Rework, No Repeat jobs etc

Key Competenece:

Individual Efficiency % (For productive staff - Time taken to do the job vs. the time allotted for the job. For non-productive staff - pace at which the job was done)

Attendance (annual leave and sick leaves within the allowed limit and emergency leave with valid reasons leave with approval exempted)  & Punctuality (attending the work on time and leaving on time as per the working hours)

House Keeping (Cleanliness of workplace, maintenance of equipment, HSE practices, Storage of used and new parts, Etc.)

Work Procedures. Use of correct procedures for use of equipments, HSE procedures. Accurate documentation for reference.

Quality Of Work (Identified through quality audits and CSI analysis  based on the standards set by company - Fix It Right First, N0 Rework, No Repeat Jobs, etc.)

 

The above list of activities are an outline of the role profile. Owing to the size of the organization, volume of work, organization structure of individual function/department of the group company, the role will be moderated as required. The performance evaluation of an individual will thus be specific to the role and KPI’s assigned to him/her on a periodic basis.
