Audi Oman has announced a sales increase of 57 per cent in 2011 on the back of growing customer demand and the introduction of an exciting number of new models by the premium automotive company.
Audi Oman also achieved its highest ever customer satisfaction results according to an exhaustive Customer Relationship Management (CRM) survey following the investment in infrastructure, including recruitment of new talent in key customer focused departments in 2011. Audi Oman has also attracted new customers and rewarded existing clients with special offers and raised awareness through the sponsorship of a number of high profile events in the Sultanate in the same year.
Commenting on the results, Mr Abdel Karim Awwad, National Marketing & Sales Manager at Audi Oman, said: “We are delighted to have achieved such excellent sales results that demonstrate growing customer confidence in Audi Oman and the products we sell. On the back of such an outstanding year we are now continuing this momentum for an even stronger 2012 by offering a wide range of models, attractive after sales service packages, and the quality of our products and services.“
“Meanwhile, the investment that we have made in hiring new talent and training infrastructure has clearly been successful given the very high satisfaction ratings we have received from our customers in our recent CRM survey.”
Key Audi models introduced in the 2011 line-up included the new Audi A7 Sportback, the seventh generation A6 saloon, entry level Audi A1 hatchback, a limited edition Audi Q5 SUV with a Bang and Olufsen sound system, and a new 3.0-litre turbo engine model of the top end Audi A8 L saloon.
In terms of turnover, the Q7 SUV remained the brand’s best selling model. Sales of the A8 L luxury saloon also increased and theQ5 compact crossover SUV consolidated its position as segment leader. Sales of the A6 executive saloon segment also grew following the introduction of the new model in summer 2011.
