Audi Oman Announces Appointment of New Service Manager

Wattayah Motors, the official dealer for Audi in the Sultanate, are proud to announce the appointment of David Lawlor as the new Service Manager for Audi Oman. As Service Manager David will be responsible for managing Audi’s fast growing list of customers and ensuring that the best level of service is provided to them.

Abdel Karim Awwad, National Sales and Marketing Manager of Audi Oman, said "At Audi Oman, we believe that high quality service and maintenance are an integral part of the Audi experience. We pride ourselves on ensuring that our customers - and their cars -  receive the very highest levels of care and attention possible. Achieving this requires highly-trained individuals taking on these responsibilities." He added, "Joining us from Audi Ireland, David is familiar with the brand and has the experience required to assume the helm of our service division."

With over two decades of experience in the automobile industry across various regions in the UK, David has an excellent reputation for technical knowledge, and a strong dedication towards his customers. At his previous role, as National After Sales Development Manager at Audi Ireland, his job encompassed driving the dealer network to ensure a constant improvement through the implementation of Audi’s core service processes. He is also one of the few employees in the Group to be qualified to conduct a 360 degree analysis.

Commenting on his new position, David Lawlor said: "It is a wonderful opportunity to work with Wattayah Motors and be part of the team working on the strategic development of the Audi business in Oman. From my stint with Audi in Dublin, I am confident I can introduce and successfully implement some international best practices and learnings to the Oman market."
