Mitsubishi Oman hasreceived an overwhelmingly positive response to its largest ever nationwide road show as the company takes its wide range of brands to the nation as part of its new “A Drive for Life” marketing campaign.
Thousands of people have already visited the road show to meet Mitsubishi as it makes it way to an eventual 41 destinations across Oman – visiting many towns and wilayats for the first time to ensure the largest number of people can experience the new 2012 range of models at first hand.
Hundreds of people have enjoyed test driving the full range of cars and SUVs on display including the 2012 edition of the Mitsubishi Pajero – Oman’s best loved SUV, the Lancer EX, ASX Crossover and the twin cab L200 – which is tremendously popular in the interior in particular thanks to its rugged performance and large load bed.
The value for money, durability and reliability of Mitsubishi which has enjoyed a presence in Oman since 1975 makes it a hugely popular brand across the country – and the company wanted to build on that popular
A unique aspect of the new road show has been the large number of venues that the company is visiting – with every event taking place away from the showroom and in popular and well visited locations.
It has already provided the public with a unique opportunity to meet the Mitsubishi Oman team face to face and learn more about the new 2012 models that are now available in showrooms across the nation during an event that will last into January.
Commenting on huge success of the road show initiative, Mitsubishi Oman General Manager, Mark Tomlinson said: “We have been delighted with the response of the public to the road show that has exceeded our expectations. It is clear there is a real hunger among the Omani motoring public to find out more about Mitsubishi and our superb range of 2012 cars and SUVs. .
“Because the vehicles we sell are suitable for every kind of driving situation you can find in Oman we are ensuring that we visit the broadest number of locations – some of them for the very first time. Even with such a widespread showroom network we cannot expect everyone to come to us – so we have tried to make it as easy as possible for the largest number of people to visit us in their own town or neighbourhood.
“At every venue we have been offering test drives, providing promotional giveaways and offering the opportunity to discuss the capabilities of our world class vehicles with our highly trained Omani sales team.”
Visitors to the road shows – that will be at some of the most popular and high profile venues in each town or wilayat – will find a fully branded tent area, A Drive for Life branded truck in addition to the display vehicles at every event.
The road show started in Muscat and during its first leg went deep into the interior visiting Bahla, Izki, Adam, Nizwa, Yenkel, Dhank, Ibri, Araqui, Samail, Fanja, Mudhaibi, Sinaw Souk, Samad and Wadi Tayeen. In the Sharqiya area it headed to Ibra, Bidaya, Sur, Al Kamil and Jalan Bu’Ali.
