The Classic Car Show Draws Crowds
Car lovers were revved up for the second Classic Car Show held recently at the Lulu parking area in Ghubra. Motoring enthusiasts of varying age groups and nationalities, including children, were drawn to the classic and unusual selection of craftsmanship that was displayed over two days on 28th and 29th March.

Zubair Automotive Group was the main sponsor for the show that had more than 50 classic cars on display. While each vehicle held its own, three vintage cars drew a lot of attention – Bugatti, Daimler and Ford of which the 1926 Bugatti walked away with a prize for being the oldest car exhibited this season.

Other than the vintage cars, Zubair Automotive also showcased select models such as the Peugeot RCZ, Spyder Roadster from BRP, ATV and off-road bikes from Yamaha and two modified Jeeps with mopar product by Dhofar Automotive. Mitsubishi displayed a Pajero, Lancer EX and the Galant as well as a 1984 Pajero . Hence, the viewers got to view the old and the new in the same arena and were seen getting their pictures taken with their favourite brands. Needless to say, it was an event that got people together – who share a common passion and appreciation for cars.
