Volkswagen Oman Endorses Germen Omani Cultural Associaltion

Volkswagen Oman associated with the German Omani Association in Oman to put together a week-long photography exhibition - 'Views of Germany - Views of Oman'.

Germany is connected with the Sultanate of Oman by a history that reaches far beyond the now 40 years of diplomatic relations. Volkswagen Oman is testament to this affiliation, being one of the most noteworthy automotive dealers in the nation – bringing German precision automation to the Sultanate

Celebrating four decades of diplomatic ties between the two countries, the exhibition was a showcase of photographic impressions produced by Omani students living in Germany who participated in the 2011 and 2012 photo competitions sponsored by the German-Omani Association.

James Oliver, General Manager – Volkswagen Oman said discussing the partnership, “Our association is committed to the expansion and deepening of relations between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Sultanate of Oman,”

He also added, “Volkswagen Oman was delighted to participate in this initiative to celebrate our country’s shared appreciation of photography and illustrate our dedication to developing relations, sharing best practices towards their mutual benefits. Volkswagen is an example of German aptitude that has been extremely well received in Oman. We aspire to bring forward such synergies to strengthen this relationship.”

Volkswagen Oman, represented by Wattayah Motors continues to bring excellence to Oman. Over the past few months, they launched the brand-new Passat 2013 and the much awaited Polo Sedan in an endeavour to bring peerless German engineering and new levels of affordable luxury and innovation to the region.
