Pan-Oman road show kicks off successfully and now heads to Nizwa this weekend
Volkswagen Oman attracted hundreds of people to its opening weekend road show in Sohar as the “People’s Car” takes it world class automobiles to the Omani people over the coming four weeks.
Following the successful launch the road show now moves on to Nizwa Souk on Tuesday 14th and Wednesday 15th February. Over 130 people have already taken up the opportunity to test drive a Volkswagen from the wide range of vehicles on display at the special road show stand.
The two days at the Safeer Mall in Sohar proved a great success and Volkswagen Oman General Manager James Oliver said he was very encouraged by the response from the general public and the hugely positive reaction to taking the brand out on the road.
“The objective of the road show is to engage with as many people as possible over the next four weeks and ensure they get an opportunity to experience firsthand the world class features of our quality cars and SUVs,” said Mr. Oliver.
“We are looking forward tremendously to taking the cars on to Nizwa and meeting the public there on Tuesday and Wednesday this week and we would encourage everyone to come and see us from 9am to 11pm on both days.”
The events will display the wide range of Volkswagen models including the flagship Touareg, the recently launched all-new Jetta and the iconic Golf GTI and Golf R at selected malls throughout the markets. Visitors are being invited to test drive the vehicles on site at the malls, learn more about the models and the special offers available.
Every road show in Oman is being held at highly popular venues to enable the maximum number of members of the public to visit and participate in the test drives and find out more about the Volkswagen range.
After this week’s trip to Nizwa the road show will then spend three days – 29th February, 1st and 2nd March at Muscat City Centre before ending at Lulu Hypermarket in Salalah on 8th and 9th March.
The road show events are open from 9am to 11pm and visitors are reminded to bring their driving license with them to ensure a test drive.
