Dhofar Automotive Announces Winners of Mopar Skill Contest 2019
- The winners will take part in the regional contest, together with Fiat Chrysler dealers.
As part of its constant commitment to providing the best services to its valued customers, Dhofar Automotive (DA), the official distributor of Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge and RAM vehicles in the Sultanate, has announced the winners in Mopar Skill Contest 2019. The annual competition saw the participation of a large number of representatives from the sales, maintenance and customer service teams.
The competition includes several different stages, wherein competitors face various challenges, designed to test their technical solving skills that are faced by customers, in more than one aspect. The winners were then selected and nominated to compete in the regional contest, which will see the participation of representatives from Fiat Chrysler dealerships across the region.
Commenting on the contest, Shyamnath Neendoor, Technical and Training Manager said, “Dhofar Automotive always places great importance on training its employees and developing their skills. Therefore, an internal competition between Dhofar Automotive’s technicians is a valuable opportunity for us to choose a contestant to represent the Sultanate in the Mopar Regional Contest. The competition will see the nomination of the most skillful technician and the best in providing skills and services at global levels. The contest is also a form of encouragement and motivation to enhance our employees’ performance and continue providing high-quality services. I am very proud of the accomplishments of all our technicians, and would like to thank them for their efforts as well as congratulate the winners of the contest.”
The competition, organised on December 14, witnessed seven winners, namely; Ravi Shetty first place in Technician Category, Athul Ashokan second place in Technician, Rajesh Kumar third place in Technician, Dushyant Sharma frst place in Sales Consultant, Salim Al Hussaini second place in Sales Consultant, Kaushik Attavar first place in Service Advisor, and Renjith Balachandran second place in Service Advisor. Moreover, Salem Al Habsi won a certificate of appreciation for the Technical Advisor of the Year. From the winners, individuals who have achieved the highest results will be selected to represent Dhofar Automotive in the FCA Mopar Skill Contest, which is to be held soon in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
